Services Provided

When you choose a midwife as your prenatal care provider, they provide you with comprehensive support—from the moment you find out you're pregnant to even after you take your baby home. This includes:

  • Prenatal care
  • Birth planning
  • Labor and delivery support
  • Postpartum care
  • Newborn wellness education

Midwives typically care for women experiencing routine or low-risk pregnancies, partnering with a obstetrician-gynecologist (OB/GYN) as needed. Throughout your pregnancy and birth experience, your Certified nurse midwives (CNMs) tailors their services to your needs. Our CNMs partner with The Woman's Hospital of Texas. This means you can receive midwifery support during labor and delivery, with a full-service hospital available, should you need it. This hospital-based midwifery program allows the CNMs to work with patients to create a personalized birth plan and offer support during labor and delivery in partnership with the hospital’s OB/GYN physicians.

Our team of CNM’s at Woman’s Choice Midwifery are all registered nurses with specialized, advanced training in women’s care, including reproductive health, pregnancy, birth and postpartum care. They also provide comprehensive care for women throughout their lives, including routine gynecologic services, menopause management, wellness education and well-woman exams.
